2. General

We take the protection of your personal data seriously and treat it confidentially in accordance with statutory data protection regulations (GDPR, BDSG, TDDDG) and this privacy policy. Using this site is generally possible without providing personal data. When using features such as account linking, tickets or donations, data is processed as described below.

3. Server Log Files

The hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser transmits:

  • IP address (anonymised after short time)
  • Date and time of the request
  • Requested URL and HTTP status code
  • Browser type, language and operating system
  • Referrer URL

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in security and stable operation). Storage: max. 14 days.

4. Cookies and Sessions

We only use technically necessary cookies required for the operation of the site (e.g. session cookie for login status, language cookie for DE/EN selection). No marketing or tracking processing takes place. No consent is required under § 25 (2) (2) TDDDG.

5. Login via Steam (Steam OpenID)

For login, we use the OpenID procedure of Steam (Valve Corporation). Upon login the following data is transmitted from Steam to us and stored:

  • Steam ID (public)
  • Steam display name
  • Steam profile picture (URL)
  • Steam profile link

6. Discord Linking (Discord OAuth)

You can optionally link your Steam account with your Discord account. Discord ID, Discord username and avatar are transmitted from Discord to us and stored to establish the link and assign in-game perks. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent) and Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. You can revoke the link at any time in your account.

7. Support Tickets and Blog

When you create a support ticket or publish content on the platform, the content you enter as well as your display name and avatar are stored. Tickets are additionally mirrored into a private Discord channel that only you (if linked) and the support team can access. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. Closed tickets are retained for a maximum of 12 months.

8. Donations (PayPal)

Donations are processed via the payment provider PayPal. Payment details are transmitted directly to PayPal — we only receive transaction ID, amount, currency and (if provided) your Steam/Discord reference for assignment of donator perks. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.

9. Cloudflare

This site uses the CDN and DDoS protection of Cloudflare. Connection data (in particular IP address) is transmitted to Cloudflare. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in security, performance and availability).

Provider: Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Privacy policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy. Cloudflare is certified under EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

10. Hosting

This site is hosted by Prepaid-Hoster (prepaid-hoster.de). The hosting provider processes the data listed in the server log files on our behalf as a data processor.

11. Your Rights

You have the right at any time to:

  • Access to your stored data (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • Erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • Object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
  • Withdraw consent (Art. 7 (3) GDPR)
